Interceptive Orthodontics

According to the American Association of Orthodontists, age 7 is the ideal age for your child’s first exam. Your child may not require treatment at age 7, but seeing them early is critical in identifying potential issues before they worsen. We want your child to have every opportunity for a healthy smile.

Our growth & guidance exams are very important. They are always free of charge. At the guidance visit, our doctors will evaluate your child’s facial and dental development and will notify you of any changes. We will also tell you, as accurately as possible; the estimated age orthodontic treatment will begin so that you can plan accordingly. Generally, these visits are scheduled every six to twelve months.
