CE Night: Advances in Oral Surgery with Dr. David Molen

November 14, 2019 @ 5:30 pm - 9:00 pm

Molen Orthodontics is hosting Dr. David Molen for a continuing education night. We hope to see you there!

Join us for a free CE lecture on “Advances in Oral Surgery” Dr. David Molen. Dr. David Molen will be speaking on some of the latest advances to make their way into oral surgery practice, which also have relevance to the general practitioner as well. These include dynamic navigated 3-D implant placement, new implant surfaces and alternatives to opioids. Also, by popular request, he will discuss oral lesions: what to watch, what to treat and what to refer out.

Dr. David Molen was born in Seattle and raised in Auburn. After completing his undergraduate studies at Brigham Young University and spending 2 years in Finland, he returned to attend the University of Washington School of Dentistry and graduated with honors in 1999. He completed his residency in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota and graduated from Mayo Medical School as part of an integrated residency program. He completed a post-graduate year in general surgery and trauma/critical care and was the Chief Resident in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery for his final year of training. Dr. Molen then returned to the Pacific Northwest, where he has been in private practice ever since. He is a member of multiple professional societies and maintains licenses and certification in Dentistry, Medicine, General Anesthesia, Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support.

Dr. Molen enjoys reading, skiing and CrossFit. He was invited by the founder of CrossFit to join the “Derelict Doctor’s Club”, which aims to change the current focus of medicine from treating disease to promoting health and preventing disease. Most of all, he enjoys spending as much time as possible with his grandson, Leo, who already speaks 2 languages!

We are looking forward to seeing everyone! Please RSVP & register each attendee separately.
