Dr. Chris Eitzen grew up in San Diego, California and attended the San Diego School for Creative and Performing Arts where he was active in both vocal/ instrumental music as well as musical theatre. Dr. Chris graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Pepperdine University where he studied Biology and played soccer.
After receiving his doctoral degree from UCLA in 1999, Dr. Chris remained at UCLA for a unique dual residency in Orthodontics and Pediatric Dentistry.
It was there that he first met Dr. Rick Molen. During his time at UCLA Dr. Chris participated clinical care, biomaterials research, and volunteer care for underserved children in Los Angeles. Upon completion of his residency Dr. Chris returned home to San Diego where he practiced for 15 years. He is a member in good standing of the American Dental Association, Washington State Dental Association, California Dental Association, Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists, California Association of Orthodontists, American Association of Orthodontists, and the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
He has over 15 years of experience using the Damon system and was an early adopter of Invisalign and Invisalign Teen.
Dr. Chris met his wife Cathy while they were in college and currently resides in Bonney Lake. They have identical twin boys, Jacob and Matthew. Outside of orthodontics, Dr. Eitzen loves being active. Some of his favorite things are surfing, traveling, running, hiking, and watching his boys play lacrosse.
